Kafka Community Spotlight is an initiative to bring more life, depth, and visibility to the Kafka community by regularly highlighting the people involved in Kafka.
The Kafka ecosystem has no shortage of corporate blog posts, sanitized conference talks, and marketing-driven success stories.
What it lacks are honest, human perspectives. The goal is to surface the human side of Kafka. By giving people a platform to share their experiences, perspectives, and stories β including things they may not normally be prompted to talk about, like where theyβre from, what advice they have, how their views have evolved.
To do this, we regularly publish interviews with people involved in the Kafka community here.
This project is inspired by the amazing https://postgresql.life, which pioneered the idea and has consistently brought their community together for the last 5+ years.
